We are very lucky to have such a broad and welcoming Pagan community in Swansea!
The Pagan Society at Swansea University is also involved with a number of other Pagan groups and communites, of which members are free to also get involved with. Members are free to attend these group's meetings unless otherwise stated; in the case of some groups, it is necessary to meet members first before attending, or to ask for the details on the meeting that would otherwise be private.
Please contact us if you would like any more details on these groups.
Swansea Univeristy Pagan Society
A society at the Univeristy, open to all types of Pagan and non-Pagans, students and non-students.
Swansea Pagan Moot
"An independent pagan moot, open to all paths. Involve yourself as much or as little as you like. Any members who flame others on this group will be removed immediately. If you don't share someone else's opinion then fair enough but public abuse and slanging matches is completely unacceptable. We have close links to our sister moots locally and to the Pagan Federation Wales and West. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at Mozart's, Walter Road, Swansea, from 7.30, to socialise and arrange other events. Come and meet us. If you don't know any of us, contact us here and we'll sort out your welcome. Each month we have a talk or workshop, and we're on the lookout for people among us to present them. If you have an idea for one ... erm, moot it."
Swansea Goddess Temple
"Once a month we shall erect the sacred altars of our Goddesses and invite everyone to return to the Temple, remember Her, love Her again and celebrate Her mysteries. Please join us in manifesting this dream so that we can reawaken ourselves to this beautiful landscape, Her lapsing waves, Her pebbles and sand; Her rolling hills, and green woodlands; Her ancient barrows, caves and standing stones. Our temple aims to reawaken the people of Swansea to the body of the Goddess in the landscape, and Her many faces that we can know Her by. People of all faiths, backgrounds, ages and genders are more than welcome!"
Neath Pagan Moot
"The Neath Moot is open to anyone interested in any of the different paths of paganism; it is an opportunity to meet with like minder ‘folk’ to share and discuss relevant topics – you can get involved as much or as little as you wish. We meet on the last Monday of the month at 7.30pm upstairs in the Highlander Pub Neath. (2-4 Lewis Road Neath, West Glamorgan SA11 1EQ).
De Cymru Red Tent Gathering (Womens Group)
A Swansea based group of The Red Tent movement, focused on caring, sharing, laughing, loving, learning to support and understand each other. Only together are we strong and all are of value in the community. This is not a group focused on any one spiritual path, only focusing on us as women and friends.
